QUICK BIO

Sriram Natarajan is the Managing Director of GIA India. He joined GIA as the Vice President – Laboratory Operations, India, in 2017. He has helped the Institute scale laboratory operations in Mumbai and Surat while instilling a culture of integrity to deliver accurate grading services to clients.

He has more than 30 years of experience in a variety of industries and geographies, and expertise in the areas of business strategy, manufacturing management, building organisational capability, and leadership coaching. He has a proven track record of establishing businesses, operational turnarounds, and integrating acquisitions.

Mr. Natarajan’s last position was with NALS Outdoors India Private Limited where he served as the Chief Executive Officer. Prior to this, he served as the Country Manager and Managing Director for the India operations of CIRCOR International Inc. for six years. CIRCOR’s India operations were established in April 2009 under his leadership. In this role, he was responsible for developing and executing CIRCOR’s growth strategy in India. Prior to CIRCOR, Mr. Natarajan was based in Cleveland, OH, and was the Director of Operations for a business group of Eaton Corporation with manufacturing facilities in the U.S., Mexico, and China.

He has an MBA from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte, NC, and an MS in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.
