DESCRIPTION

Having lived through the highs and lows of balancing a career with motherhood for most of my own professional life, I truly believe that it is a new mom needs a friend, a confidant, and a sounding board. There is hardly another experience so transformational- so full of joys and challenges. I go back to my early days….

Mom guilt – where does it come from?
What are the assumptions and biases?
Where does the insecurity lie?
What values does one operate from?

It is this experience and the passion to make a difference with which I started the Maternity Coaching program in my organization. My Coaching training was organization sponsored and this was what I wanted to give back. In India, the percentage of women who pursue their professions post maternity is still small; coaching conversations can go a long way to expand different possibilities.
